American Oak Natural
The Aurum oak range of un-toasted American oak is obtained directly from boards from the cooperage drying yard, which have undergone 24-36 months of drying. No toasting is carried out so as not to diminish the natural tannin content of the oak. The un-toasted American oak brings a medium level of tannicity to the wine and contributes slightly to the aromatic complexity by providing light notes of fresh wood and vanilla.
